Pennell, Zochowski Represent Kirtland at NJCAA Nationals
Kirtland Community College bowlers Camille Pennell and Natalie Zochowski put their talents to the test at the NJCAA National Championship, competing in doubles, singles, and all-events against top competition from across the country.
Kirtland Community College bowlers Camille Pennell and Natalie Zochowski capped off their season with strong performances at the NJCAA National Championship, competing in doubles, singles, and the all-events category.
In doubles, the duo combined for a total pinfall of 906. Pennell led the way with a 476 series (168, 168, 140), while Zochowski added a 430 series (131, 150, 149).
In the singles event, Pennell rolled a 521 series (158, 178, 185) to finish 27th overall, while Zochowski posted a 488 series (133, 191, 164) to secure a 45th-place finish.
Across all 12 games, Pennell placed 37th in all-events with a total pinfall of 1,963, averaging 163.6 per game. Zochowski finished 45th with 1,835 total pins and a 152.9 average.
Both bowlers showcased their skill and determination on the national stage, proudly representing Kirtland Community College and closing out a strong season for the Firebirds.
