Scott Rice has been passionate about bowling since he could walk, turning a childhood interest into a lifelong career. Growing up, he worked in a bowling alley, which deepened his understanding of the sport and its community.

Over the years, Scott has competed in numerous state and national tournaments, showcasing his skills and commitment to excellence.


In addition to his achievements on the lanes, Scott is an accomplished artist. He leveraged this talent to design artwork for Brunswick bowling alleys, merging his love for bowling with his creative pursuits.
As the Bowling Coach at Kirtland Community College, Scott embraces a coaching philosophy centered on continuous improvement, encouraging his athletes to “be better than you were yesterday.”

He fosters a strong sense of teamwork, emphasizing the importance of supporting fellow athletes both on and off the lanes.
Scott’s dedication to the sport and his players makes him a valuable asset to Kirtland Community College, as he works to cultivate a culture of excellence and camaraderie in the bowling program.
