Our Firebird Esports athletes continue to bring the heat across multiple titles, facing teams from across the country. Here's a look at last week's action:
Super Smash Bros.
- Jeremiah Holberton took on Terra State Community College and delivered a dominant performance, sweeping the match 4-0.
- Joseph Michalko faced off against Northwest Florida State College but came up short in a tough 0-4 loss.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- It was another Firebird faceoff as Airielle Voorhees and Utah Gusa battled it out on the track. Utah took the win in a 4-0 sweep.
- Brianna Autry competed against State Technical College of Missouri, falling 1-4 in a competitive matchup.

Marvel Rivals
The Marvel Rivals team challenged Lorain County Community College (Ohio) in a fast-paced series. Despite their efforts, the Firebirds dropped the match 3-0. The squad continues to build momentum and chemistry heading into future games.
Madden NFL
- Noah Cosme (Saucyfam_flow) secured a 2-1 victory over WSU Tech (Wichita, Kansas), showcasing his strategic edge on the virtual gridiron.
- Zach Bain (LiLzz3408) went up against HACC (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania) but was edged out 0-2.
- In a Kirtland showdown, Jayvion Simms (Jaysmaccedu) defeated teammate Caleb Baker (twisted_clown14) in a close 2-1 matchup.
